Power
The Star 648TF gas griddle ships configured for natural gas with an included conversion kit for LP gas. The unit features (4) 28300 BTU aluminized U-shaped burners to deliver a total of 113,200 BTUs to the plate. A 3/4″ NPT gas connection is included in the unit rear. Item ships with convertible gas regulator.
Construction
This unit features a highly polished 1″-thick steel griddle plate with a 4-1/2″H stainless steel splash guard. The unit’s base is constructed with a cool-to-touch stainless steel bull-nose front protecting heavy-duty chrome-plated zinc control knobs. The lower housing includes stainless steel front with double-wall aluminized steel side panels. The 3-1/4″W front grease trough feeds to a 4-1/2 quart heavy duty stainless steel grease drawer. Set on 4″ nickel-plated steel legs with a 1-3/8″ adjustment range.
Controls
This model features thermostatic controls with heavy duty chrome adjustment knobs. Modulating thermostats are placed every 12″ of width and are embedded 3/16″ beneath the cooking surface for fast and precise temperature control between 150°F and 450°F.
Dimensions
This model measures 15-1/2″H x 48″W x 29″D overall, with a 48″W x 21″D cooking surface.
