The True TS-23-2-HC reach-in refrigerator is designed to store a variety of perishable items such as prepared sauces, dressings, vegetables, and dairy products, maintaining optimal temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The exterior solar digital temperature display ensures precise monitoring, allowing operators to verify the safety of the contents.
Built with efficiency in mind, the refrigerator features a self-contained refrigeration system utilizing eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Electronically commutated (EC) evaporator fan motors contribute to reduced heat production and energy usage while enhancing motor reliability. The cabinet and doors are foamed in place with high-density polyurethane insulation, effectively retaining generated temperatures. The bottom-mounted condensing unit not only simplifies maintenance access but also maximizes storage space on top of the unit.
Crafted for durability and cohesion with other back-of-house equipment, the True TS-23-2-HC’s doors, front, and sides are constructed of stainless steel. The steel back is coated with corrosion-resistant GalFan®, ensuring lasting quality. The welded, heavy-duty steel frame rail is black powder-coated for corrosion resistance, and 4-inch-diameter castors with locks facilitate easy repositioning. The unit features two left-hinged, self-closing half-size doors with 12-inch-long foamed-in-place recessed handles, complete with magnetic gaskets for secure closure. Locking mechanisms provide an added layer of protection against theft and tampering during off-hours.
Inside the 27-inch-wide by 2912-inch-deep by 8338-inch-tall unit, a corrosion- and rust-resistant stainless steel liner and floor simplify cleaning. Three adjustable, heavy-duty PVC-coated gray wire shelves, supported on pilasters adjustable in 12-inch increments, maximize vertical storage space. Each shelf measures 2278 inches wide by 2314 inches deep, accommodating a variety of products. Safety-shielded lighting with a rocker switch above the doors illuminates the interior, aiding quick inventory identification while offering energy conservation options.
